I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia, in beautiful Vancouver, BC. As a member of the Department of Biochemistry, I am studying membrane transporters required for proper vision. I am serving the UBC postdoc community as an executive member of the UBC Postdoctoral Association (PDA) and I am also available for freelance editing of scientific documents. I am passionate about scientific communication and my favourite field of science is membrane trafficking. In my spare time, I love gardening, reading, cooking, and enjoying a cold pint or two.

That’s me below (on the left), graduating with my PhD in December 2014.
